Haiti: Scandal of workers who make Levi's

Grupo M [a supplier to Levi Strauss]...has issued a statement assuring workers [who were fired in June allegedly for unionising activities] that they will be allowed to return to the production line in the new Codevi free trade zone...It is, perhaps, because of Levi's involvement that a resolution is now in sight...Unfortunately this olive branch has been overshadowed by allegations from a number of workers who believe they have been put on a family planning programme without their consent.
