The Centre for Justice Governance and Environmental Action has supported locals impacted by the lead-smelting operations of Metal Refinery (EPZ) to file a lawsuit seeking compensation. The complainants allege diverse impacts including death of loved ones from lead poisoning and respiratory diseases.
