Leading Senegalese company joins anti-poverty initiative

One of Senegal's leading companies is joining UNDP in a programme to lift poor rural communities out of poverty by offering small business loans, widening access to social services, and training people for jobs. Industries Chimiques du Sénégal (ICS) is supporting an initiative to make micro-finance services available to poor communities, particularly for young people and women. ICS will help small businesses set up under the country's anti-poverty programme enter into sub-contracts with it.
