Participants at the 6th Women's General Conference...underscored the importance of developing Yemen's banking system and providing women easy access loans so they can build their own businesses. A national plan should be developed that will include the cultivation of a suitable working environment for women in the private sector, expanding training programmes and empowering women in various disciplines and income-generating fields, participants said.
