EGGER statement

...The EGGER Group does not have a production site in Ukraine. However, Ukraine represents a sales market for EGGER. It is currently extremely difficult to make concrete statements about the course of the coming weeks and month. The economy in Ukraine came to a partial standstill, so EGGER has partially suspended deliveries to the country in agreement with its customers there. In individual cases, attempts are being made to organize deliveries and transports in response to customer requests. The safety and health of our local employees is our top priority. We are in continuous contact with our colleagues and offer support where possible. Due to the current situation, we have had to close the EGGER sales office in Kiev until further notice. It is of particular concern to us to alleviate the great suffering of affected people and families on the run and on site. As the EGGER Group, we are participating together with our employees in local fundraising and support campaigns, thus helping the affected people in this dramatic emergency. We hope for peace soon and our thoughts continue to be with all those suffering...

The EGGER Group is represented by two plants in Russia: in Shuya in the Ivanovo region and in Gagarin in the Smolensk region. For the family-owned company EGGER, humanity, trust and respectful interaction with each other characterize daily activities. At EGGER, we do not regard our employees solely as workers, but as part of a large family...The resulting responsibility also applies to the more than 1,000 employees in the two Russian plants and their families. Both plants are producing. It is extremely difficult at present to make any concrete statements about the course of the coming weeks or months. EGGER continues to monitor the overall situation intensively...
