Education

Companies can help advance education by providing funds, materials and knowledge. Companies can also have a negative impact on education, for example by using children to perform work, by polluting communities in ways that have an effect on the health and learning ability of children, or avoiding paying tax enabling countries to supply education etc. Child labour decreases the time and energy children have for learning. Some companies play a role as suppliers of education in countries where it has been privatised or outsourced.
