Head of Children's Rights & Business - Business Engagement

The Head of Children’s Rights and Business – Business Engagement co-leads the Children’s Rights and Business Unit and is responsible for business engagement activities across Unicef UK’s current corporate partnerships and new business prospects with the exception of businesses within the travel and tourism sector. The role is responsible for ensuring the achievement of organisational KPIs, including contributing to the achievement of income targets across the corporate partnerships department. The role line manages two Children’s Rights and Business Specialists who under direction of the post-holder, provide technical assistance and expertise to integrate the rights of children into UK business policy and practice. The post is also a member of the Unicef UK Strategic Leadership Group (SLG), the Children’s Rights and Business Senior Leadership Team, the P&P Senior Leadership Team and the Corporate Senior Management Team.

To succeed in this role, you will have worked with businesses on corporate sustainability issues in a leading role either in-house in a CSR or Sustainability function or within a consultancy or trade body. You will have excellent skills in developing relationships and building networks and a detailed knowledge of human rights/ child rights, corporate sustainability and fundraising landscapes.
