Oxfam is looking for a Private Sector Policy Adviser to play a leading role in developing and delivering policy and advocacy work towards UK food retailers in support of Oxfam’s Behind the Barcodes campaign, which seeks to end human suffering in global food supply chains.
This campaign forms part of Oxfam GB’s wider private sector engagement strategy which aims to influence business to play a more active role in reducing poverty, improving women’s economic empowerment, whilst respecting and promoting human rights, and tackling inequality.
In this role, you will work with colleagues in the Private Sector team in the UK and in Oxfam affiliates around the world, as part of multi-disciplinary teams of researchers and lobbyists, media officers and campaigners.
