Brief job description

Education Works is ELBA’s over-arching education programme which seeks to raise aspirations of young people, develop employability skills and support the leadership and governance of educational institutions across east London. Mentoring Works (formerly known as Hackney Schools Mentoring Programme) is a high impact education programme for Years 10 and 12. Mentoring Works matches Year 10 and 12 students from Islington and Hackney schools to volunteer business mentors in both 1:1 and group relationships.

This role is pivotal to the smooth running of the Mentoring Works programme. We are looking for someone highly organised, and flexible with a real flair and understanding of reporting systems and databases, but also someone who can support with aspects of delivering programmes. The Project Coordinator will utilise the Microsoft Dynamics Customer relationship Management (CRM) system to effectively monitor activity and provide regular reports to assist in the effective account management of ELBA member companies. The Project Coordinator will work flexibly across two sites, initially this is proposed to be three days within Hackney and two in the Islington office. They will report to the Mentoring Works Programme Manager, having regular one to one meetings for input and guidance and will be subject to an annual performance appraisal.
