We are expanding our capacity in the area of institutional fundraising to complement a new strategic growth plan. GRI is proud of its strategic governmental funding partners. It is now seeking to expand its institutional funding basis with new partners. This role offers a great opportunity for someone who excels in relationship management having a passion for sustainable development and fundraising. As a vital part of the Fundraising and Strategic Partnerships team, s/he will coordinate fundraising with governmental, intergovernmental and foundation partners. Equally important she/he will support in the process of monitoring and reporting of the government funded Sustainability Development Programs. She/he will collaborate with all units in the organization, including regional hubs. The position requires modest international travel.
The post holder supports and assists the Director Fundraising and Strategic Partnerships who is currently been recruited in mastering the dynamics of the full funding cycle: from identification of potential funding, to proposal writing, tendering, to establishment of contracts, intra-organizational coordination and monitoring of implementation, narrative and financial reporting and evaluation.

Contract: 40 hours p/w; 1 year initially - extension by mutual consent
